The Fedex logo is a little obvious. I chose this one because of its use of negative space between the E and the x, which create an arrow, which symbalizes go. Because Fedex is a shipping company with the name express in it, it makes sense to symbalize speed or action. http://www.google.com/imgres?q=Fedex+logos&hl=en&gbv=2&tbm=isch&tbnid=M37chCAyS-6FJM:&imgrefurl=http://symbolphotos.blogspot.com/2010/07/fedex-logo-photos.html&docid=G0mJXGdS_xsLXM&w=475&h=200&ei=1itZTrXtJJDQgAfS48CYDA&zoom=1&iact=rc&page=1&tbnh=87&tbnw=207&start=0&ndsp=28&ved=1t:429,r:1,s:0&tx=73&ty=38&biw=1264&bih=908 in its logo.

I chose the chevron logo because i am also using this for my typography class, and because i have already done some research on it and became familiar with its history i thought that i  might as well use it. Basically what i found out is that the symbol along with the name represent longevity in service, which makes sense because cheveron is a service station.http://208.78.98.213/Fortune_500_Logos/Chevron

Company Logo

I chose the Chicago Cubs logo as one that i don't like. Its not that I'm not a Chicago fan, and I'm not i particular, its just that this logo doesn't make much sense to me. Nothing about this logo says Chicago, Cubs, or even baseball to me.

Company logos

I chose this logo of amazon.com because at first i thought that the image was suppose to depict a smiling face, but after a closer examination i saw that the smile was actually an arrow pointing from A to Z. Showing that amazon.com has everything ranging from a to z.
